One of our 2015 releases, the Beatnik is an unusual character. Funky and earthy up front with a ‘dirt’ flavor of raw beets, then following with savory herbs balanced by just the right amount of sugar.

We knew when we were making this recipe it would not be for everyone. This one is an eccentric oddball to be sure. However it’s quickly becoming one of our favorites for cocktails, blending very well with gin, whiskey, or even mezcal. The botanical profile works well when you’d rather go savory over sweet, and you can even sub this in for a sweet vermouth to give your drinks a different twist.
