Beatnik Cocktails

Beatnik is quite an unusual mixer to play with, and offers earthy & funky flavors. You can use Beatnik in place of a sweet vermouth to give your cocktails a botanical spin.

Old Poet

An old fashioned with a botanical twist!

1 oz Beatnik

1.5 oz Bourbon
Dash Celery Bitters
Dash of sugar to taste

Stir over ice for 30 seconds, serve on the rocks.

Botanist's Delight

1 oz Beatnik
0.5 oz Fernet Branca or similar

Mix over ice, stir slowly to chill. A wonderful drink to share with a few friends.

Ginsberg and Tonic

1 oz Beatnik
1 oz Gin
Juice from 1/4 of an orange
Mix in a tall glass with ice, fill with tonic

Delightful for nice warm weather, or also just … weather.

Garden in a Glass

2 oz Beatnik
Dash Crude Bitters “Bitterless Marriage”

Mix over ice in a tall glass, add soda water to fill. These are suspiciously easy to drink.

Beebop Cocktails

Beebop is both a delicious sipper and an absolutely wonderful mixer, with bright and 'spiky' flavors that stand out well with other spirits.

Beebop Boulevardier

1 oz Beebop
1 oz Rye Whiskey
0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth

Stir with ice for 30 seconds, serve up with a twist of orange.

Science has indicated to us that this is without a doubt the best cocktail we’ve ever made and also in the whole world.

Radio Pisco

1 oz Beebop
1 oz Pisco
0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth

Stir over ice and serve up. Both the grassy flavors of Pisco and the tartness of Beebop offset the other, leaving a thoroughly enjoyable cocktail to sip on.

Warm Winter

1 oz Beebop
1 oz Dry Gin
Sprig of Rosemary

Mix liquors over ice, stir with rosemary and then strain into a rocks glass. A refreshing botanical cocktail that’s also wonderful in cold weather.

Beebop Spritzer

2 oz Beebop
Pour over ice in a tall glass
Fill with soda or sparkling water

The best way to explore this liqueur on its own. A splash of soda opens up the aromas of hibiscus and rosemary and makes for a refreshing and flavorful drink.

Desert Rose

1 oz Beebop
1 oz Anejo Tequila
Dash Lavender Bitters

Mix ingredients, stir for 30 seconds, strain onto one or two ice cubes.

Jabberwock Cocktails

The Jabberwock is an absolute beast of a liqueur on its own. But with such aggressive flavors, only a little will go a long way.

Frumious & Fearsome

0.5 oz Jabberwock
1 oz White Rum
1 oz sour mix
1 oz orange juice

Shake thoroughly with ice and serve on the rocks.

Wockango

1 oz Jabberwock
2 oz Mango Nectar

Mix and serve on the rocks. Not particularly strong in alcohol, but has an abundance of flavor stretching all across the palate.

Darker & Stormier

1.5 oz Jabberwock
3 oz Ginger Ale

Enjoy over the rocks in a tall glass. One of the best ways to counter the heat, but only just a bit. 🔥🔥🔥

Krupnikas Cocktails

At 40% abv balanced by the rich sweetness of wildflower honey, Krupnikas is 'traditionally' a sipper by itself. It also makes a wonderful mixer that works with many types of other liquors, or can be used as the backbone of a mixed drink on its own. We've even got a few desserts here.

1 oz Brandy
Squeeze Lemon
Hot Water

1.5 oz 100% Agave Blanco Tequila

1.5 oz Sour Mix

Can be served on the rocks, or blended with lots of ice to make a frozen margarita.

For an extra kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper.

Rim’s personal favorite! A creamy cocktail that’s also a great dessert.

1.5 oz Coffee Liqueur

1.5 oz half-and-half

Stir with ice and enjoy!

When it’s warm outside, this is a great way to lighten up the ‘warmth’ and make Krupnikas a bit more refreshing.

An Irish & Lithuanian Mix!

1.5 oz Krupnikas

0.75 oz Baileys

0.75 oz Coffee

Mix in a cocktail shaker, shake vigorously and serve on the rocks with a twist of orange.

Krup & Lemon

Pour Krupnikas on the rocks
Squeeze of Lemon
Apply drink to face. Repeat as needed.

Bull City Bee's Knees

1 oz Krupnikas
1 oz Durham Distillery Conniption Dry Gin
1 oz fresh orange juice

Shake ingredeints with ice, strain and serve up. Garnish with rosemary.

Zaphod Cocktails

Zaphod has a mellow flavor and bright aromatics, making it an ideal mixer with lighter flavored liqueurs and mixers.

Heart of Gold

1 oz Zaphod

2 oz Cava Brut or Sparkling Wine

Twist of Orange

An especially fizzy wine brings out the fresh herbal aromatics, making a pleasantly relaxing drink that’s both light and flavorful.

Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster

1 oz Zaphod

1 oz Tequila Blanco

Juice from 1/2 a lemon

0.5 oz Simple Syrup or a pinch of sugar

Shake with ice.

Beeblebrox Mojito

The “Experts” said you couldn’t make a mojito without muddling mint, but we outsmarted them by making a liqueur with mint already in it. Take that, nerds!

1 oz Zaphod
1 oz White Rum
Mix over ice in a tall glass and fill with club soda. Wow you’re done already.

Cocktail Forty Two

1 oz Zaphod
1 oz Gin
1 oz Peach Nectar

Shake for 30 seconds with ice, double strain and serve up.
